Delhi's air quality deteriorated sharply on 3 November, taking the citywide AQI to 350 as authorities enforced the second stage of pollution restrictions across the National Capital Region. The worsening conditions have renewed concerns about public health, transport emissions and the effectiveness of preventive action before Diwali.
