Chipotle sales rise 9.6% to $3.29bn as returning customers fail to protect restaurant margins
Chipotle reported a third consecutive quarter of positive comparable transaction growth and opened 84 restaurants, but operating margin declined as labour, occupancy and other costs increased. Its ambitious 2027 expansion plans will test whether stronger customer demand can restore profitability.
