Sweeping Corporation of America acquires Missouri-based Contractors & Municipal Sweeping Service

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA), an Ohio-based power sweeping services company, has acquired Contractors & Municipal Sweeping Service (C&M) in St. Louis, Missouri.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition is said to grow the presence of Sweeping Corporation of America to a new market in St. Louis apart from being its first venture into Missouri.

Contractors & Municipal Sweeping Service caters to municipalities and private contractors with street sweeping services in the St. Louis metropolitan region.

For Sweeping Corporation of America, the deal will be its sixth acquisition this year and its first in Missouri.  The deals have helped the power sweeping services company to expand its team to more than 1,200 employees in 45 plus locations.
