In a significant stride towards enhancing India’s renewable energy capacity, Suzlon Group, the country’s foremost renewable energy solutions provider, has announced its latest achievement—a new order from Juniper Green Energy Private Limited for the development of a 72.45 MW wind power project. This project, set to rise in the Dwarka district of Gujarat, will feature 23 of Suzlon’s wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. This order underscores the growing momentum in India’s transition towards sustainable energy sources, leveraging Suzlon’s advanced 3.15 MW, S144-140m turbines from its acclaimed 3 MW product series.

JP Chalasani, Chief Executive Officer of Suzlon Group, expressed delight over securing the third order from Juniper Green Energy Private Limited within just a few months, highlighting the strong, ongoing partnership between the two entities. This collaboration is a testament to Suzlon’s leadership in wind technology and its comprehensive capabilities across the entire wind energy value chain. Chalasani also acknowledged the support of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) and the state’s progressive renewable energy policies that have been pivotal in promoting sustainable energy in Gujarat. Suzlon’s commitment to India’s renewable energy ambitions aligns with the national vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, emphasizing self-reliance and sustainability.
