Surya Roshini begins operations at new 3LPE coated pipes production line

Surya Roshini Limited (NSE : SURYAROSNI), an Indian lighting company, has started commercial production of a second line for manufacturing 3LPE coated pipes at Anjar in the Kachchh district in Gujarat.

The 3LPE coated pipes production line has an installed capacity of nine lakh square meter per annum, which is more than the existing installed capacity of 18,50,000 sqm, said Surya Roshini.

The Indian lighting company said that the start of the second 3LPE coating line under its approved expansion program will help it benefit from higher capacity utilization of its existing spiral and ERW API Pipes facilities. It will boost the share of high value added pipes and help in generating savings in logistic and coating charges, said Surya Roshini.

Furthermore, the new 3LPE coated pipes line will be making use of the company’s footprint in the domestic and also global 3LPE coated steel pipes for the oil and gas industry.
