Superior Plus acquires California-based Central Coast Propane

Superior Plus, a US-based energy products distributor, said that one of its fully-owned subsidiaries has acquired Central Coast Propane, a retail propane distributor in Southern California.

The financial terms of the deal were not revealed by the parties.

Based in Paso Robles, Central Coast Propane has been operating since 1992.

The independent retail propane distributor caters to nearly 2,800 residential and commercial customers across Southern California.

Luc Desjardins – Superior Plus President and CEO said: “The acquisition of Central Coast is Superior’s fourth acquisition in 2020 and third retail propane acquisition in California. Central Coast has an attractive mix of residential and commercial customers, and we anticipate this acquisition will provide synergy opportunities with our existing retail and wholesale propane operations in California.”
