Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL), an India-based digital networks integrator, has launched end-to-end fiber broadband and 5G wireless solution called Accellus.
The new solution from Sterlite Technologies is said to have been built on converged optical-radio architecture.
Accellus is claimed to enable four core benefits for network creators, which include scalable and agile operations, quicker time-to-market, lower total cost of ownership (TCO), and greener networks.
According to Sterlite Technologies, Accellus will help in the industry’s shift from tightly integrated, proprietary products to vendor-neutral and programmable converged wireless and fiber network solutions.
Chris Rice — CEO of Sterlite Technologies Access Solutions said: “Disaggregated 5G and FTTx networks based on open standards are increasingly prevalent for both greenfield & brownfield rollouts.
“These networks will require unprecedented scalability & agility, possible through an open and programmable architecture. STL’s Accellus will unlock business opportunities for our customers and deliver immersive digital experiences globally.”
