Stena Drilling wins contract for Stena Icemax drillship from BP Canada

Stena Drilling has bagged a new contract from BP Canada Energy Group for the Stena Icemax drillship in Canadian waters.

The mobile offshore drilling unit will be deployed off the coast of Newfoundland for executing a one-well program, slated to be undertaken in 2023.

The estimated duration of the contract for the Stena Icemax drillship is 80 days.
