SRG Global gets A$30m contract for Frankston Hospital redevelopment in Victoria

Industrial services provider SRG Global Ltd (ASX: SRG) has announced that it has secured a facades contract valued at approximately A$30 million in Victoria.

The contract, awarded by Lendlease on behalf of Exemplar Health / Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA), entails the design, supply, and installation of specialist engineered curtain wall facades at the Frankston Hospital Redevelopment in Victoria.

Work on the contract is set to commence immediately and is anticipated to reach completion in 2024. The redevelopment of Frankston Hospital, estimated to be worth around A$1.1 billion, will include a new 12-story clinical services tower and main entrance, 130 additional beds, expanded spaces for mental health and oncology services, and 15 new operating theatres.

Once the redevelopment is complete, the hospital is expected to have the capacity to treat an estimated 35,000 more patient episodes annually. Furthermore, the project will contribute to a NABERS 5.5-star energy rating and a 5-star water conservation rating, indicating a high level of environmental sustainability.
