Specialty chemicals leader Lubrizol opens new global hub in Pune

Lubrizol Corporation, a prominent leader, has inaugurated its new Global Capability Center (GCC) in Pune, India, marking a significant stride in its commitment to enhancing regional and global operations. Located within the new facility at Embassy Tech Zone, Hinjewadi, this center aims to harness local talent and foster close collaboration with customers and employees, thereby propelling Lubrizol’s growth in numerous markets and industries. The Lubrizol GCC forms part of a 42,000-square-foot campus that is WELL- and LEED Gold certified, featuring a customer experience centre and modern, ergonomic workspaces designed to boost wellness and productivity.

The GCC is set to become a pivotal hub for Lubrizol, accommodating over 200 regional employees across various functions including Engineering, Supply Chain, Technology, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and HR. Lubrizol’s roots in India stretch back to 1966, beginning with the manufacture of chemical additives crucial for the transportation and industrial sectors.
