SiOnyx launches new SiOnyx Pro day and night action camera

SiOnyx, an infrared imaging technology company, has launched Pro, a new HD color day/night action video camera priced at $799.

The , which was showcased at the SHOT Show, expands on the ultra-low-light sensor technology of SiOnyx with upgraded imaging abilities and the ability to use an augmented reality software update.

SiOnyx claims that the new HD color day/night action video camera provides night vision for a wide variety of uses such as hunting, shooting sports, law enforcement, boating, fishing, hiking, and others.

Some of the SiOnyx Pro features are second-generation SiOnyx XQE sensor with more than 2x improvement in performance during night time, three times improved 940 nm sensitivity for near-infrared (NIR) illuminator applications, augmented reality (AR) having features designed for maritime navigation aids and team sports, enhanced low distortion lens with a wider field of view.

The new video camera from SiOnyx can support SD cards up to 256GB. Additionally, the SiOnyx Pro camera offers advanced high caliber optics technology for those who are looking for enhanced features.
