The shooter, a 34-year-old male, not only targeted his initial adversary but also wounded two bystanders — a 47-year-old man, a 69-year-old woman, and a 70-year-old woman. Fortunately, all victims are reported to be alert, conscious, and breathing, Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum confirmed.

Quick Response by Off-Duty Officer

An off-duty Atlanta police officer who was present at the scene intervened and shot the armed suspect, preventing further violence. The suspect’s handgun was recovered by the police at the scene.
