Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, Elumalai passed away due to internal hemorrhage at 11:30 pm the same day.

The production house extended their sincerest condolences to Elumalai’s family, affirming their support during this difficult time.

“Sardar 2” had officially commenced shooting on July 15, following a traditional pooja ceremony attended by director PS Mithran, lead actor Karthi, and notable figures including Karthi’s father, actor Sivakumar.
