Shiseido to support growth of Tory Burch beauty portfolio

US lifestyle brand Tory Burch has signed a long-term partnership agreement with Japanese cosmetics company Shiseido to support further growth of Tory Burch beauty brands.

Shiseido will have the exclusive worldwide license to develop, market, and distribute Tory Burch beauty brands under the agreement, which will be effective as of 1 January 2020.

The company’s Americas region headquartered in New York City will manage Tory Burch’s beauty license.

The partnership is expected to provide Tory Burch with a global platform and resources to improve its beauty business while Shiseido will expand its global fragrance portfolio, and generate cooperation across the company’s Centers of Excellence in Fragrance, Makeup, Skincare, and Digital, and Technology Acceleration Hub.

Launched in 2004, Tory Burch designs and sells ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, accessories, watches, home and fragrance.

The first Tory Burch fragrance products, which were launched in 2013,  are currently available in Tory Burch boutiques and luxury retailers around the world.
