Servotech Power Systems wins BPCL contract for DC fast EV chargers

Servotech Power Systems has won a contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for the supply and installation of 800 units of DC fast EV chargers at various locations in India in the coming four months.

According to the EV charging solutions provider, it will have to supply a series of EV chargers, which has already started in Delhi.

The EV chargers installation project, which is worth INR 46.2 crores, is likely to be wrapped up by 31 March 2023, said Servotech Power Systems.

Its objective is to equip petrol pumps in key Indian cities with EV charging capabilities.

Servotech Power Systems will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of DC fast chargers at a variety of locations involving the retail sites and fuel and gas stations of BPCL.

Servotech Power Systems stated: “The project will help ensure the deployment of e-mobility touchpoints that address transactions, availability, discovery, and navigation in order to give users of electric vehicles easy access to the charging network.”

Recently, Servotech Power Systems established a subsidiary called Techbec Industries Limited for manufacturing batteries.
