SC Johnson acquisition of Sun Bum : SC Johnson, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of household cleaning supplies and other consumer chemicals, has agreed to acquire personal care products brand Sun Bum for an undisclosed price.

The personal care products of Sun Bum cover the areas of hair care, sun protection, and lip care. SC Johnson acquisition of Sun Bum also includes the Baby Bum brand of baby care and sun protection products.

Commenting on SC Johnson acquisition of Sun Bum, Fisk Johnson – Chairman and CEO of SC Johnson, said: “The Sun Bum brand is a welcome addition to our portfolio of trusted products.

“It also expands our robust selection of fast-growing, on-trend products like Babyganics, Method, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day and Caldrea that appeal to consumers and their families.”

The closing of SC Johnson acquisition of Sun Bum will be subject to US regulatory approval.
