Saipem, NPCC secure $4.1bn contract for UAE’s Hail and Ghasha project

Saipem, in partnership with the National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), has announced the signing of a letter of award (LOA) with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). The LOA pertains to a contract related to the Hail and Ghasha Development Project – Package 1 in the United Arab Emirates, with Saipem’s share of the contract amounting to approximately $4.1 billion USD.

The Hail and Ghasha Development Project is a crucial initiative aimed at harnessing the natural gas resources of the Hail and Ghasha fields, situated offshore in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This expansive project involves the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of four drilling centers and a processing plant to be constructed on artificial islands. Additionally, it encompasses the construction of various offshore structures and the installation of over 300 kilometers of subsea pipelines.
