Route Mobile and Vodafone Idea partner up: A new era of A2P SMS monetization with AI
Route Mobile Limited, a frontrunner in the CPaaS industry, has announced an exclusive alliance with telecom giant, Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL). This collaboration will see Route Mobile deploying its state-of-the-art A2P monetization solutions across the entire VIL network, including the networks of Vodafone and Idea.
In this strategic partnership, Route Mobile’s A2P monetization solutions suite, powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), will be at the forefront. The integration includes an AI/ML analytical firewall, an SMS hub on VIL’s network, and the aggregation of international A2P SMS traffic.
Rajdipkumar Gupta, Managing Director & Group CEO of Route Mobile, expressed his enthusiasm: “This collaboration signifies not only a strengthening bond with Vodafone Idea but also underscores Route Mobile’s global connectivity and expansive CPaaS capabilities. We’re proud to empower VIL in their endeavor to shield their users from Spam and Phishing.”
With a track record of deploying its firewall solutions for multiple global Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Route Mobile is set to elevate VIL’s defenses against unwanted messages. Their innovative A2P SMS firewall focuses on real-time traffic detection and analysis, incorporating proprietary tools for traffic forecasting, business intelligence, and data analytics. This system ensures optimal monetization of A2P SMS traffic and blocks grey route traffic.
Before April 2022, Idea Cellular had been capitalizing on Route Mobile’s solutions. But with this latest engagement, Route Mobile’s tech will exclusively serve the entire Vodafone Idea network. As one of the globe’s largest telecom operators, VIL aims to further benefit from Route Mobile’s scalable CPaaS platform, enhancing the processing of international A2P SMS traffic. This symbiotic relationship promises to deliver substantial value for both entities.
