Rockgas selects PDI Logistics Cloud for transforming LPG operations

Professional Datasolutions, Inc. (PDI) said that its platform has been selected by Rockgas, a -based LPG retailer, for the transformation, innovation, and of its LPG logistics operations.

Based in Atlanta, is a software solutions provider for the convenience retailer and petroleum wholesaler industries.

According to the company, PDI Logistics Cloud solves the unique requirements of fuel haulers to enable visibility and control starting from the terminal to the pump.

PDI Logistics Cloud, which is designed to optimize logistics workflows and the delivery of real time, is expected to help Rockgas make use of its existing resources and enhance transparency to streamline operational efficiency, cut down costs, and improve supply chain visibility.

Jo Crawford — General Manager of Rockgas said: “The first trucks are already in operation using the new system. Soon all our operators will benefit from the comprehensive functionality of PDI Logistics Cloud, such as a focus on preventing LPG runouts, reducing mileage, boosting productivity, maximizing transparency, increasing payload utilization, ensuring compliance, and digitalizing operations.”

As part of the deployment of PDI Logistics Cloud, Rockgas is said to have moved to a paperless dispatch process. With the PDI solution removing the necessity for printing invoices and other customer communications, the Firstgas Group company is now sending them digitally and automatically, said Professional Datasolutions.
