Revolt Motors enters Sri Lankan market with RV400 and RV400 BRZ launch

Revolt Motors, a subsidiary of RattanIndia Enterprises Limited and a leader in India’s electric motorcycle market, has officially entered the Sri Lankan market with the launch of its flagship electric motorcycles, the RV400 and RV400 BRZ.

The debut event, hosted at the prestigious Water’s Edge in Colombo, signifies a pivotal step in Sri Lanka’s transition toward sustainable and technologically advanced transportation. Revolt Motors has opened its first dealership on Maradana Road, Colombo, and plans to expand its footprint across 11 other locations, including Kurunegala, Matara, and Batticaloa, to create a comprehensive distribution network.

The launch was graced by prominent figures such as Mrs. Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises, and Mr. Bob Kundanmal, Chairman of Evolution Auto, the exclusive distributor for Revolt Motors in Sri Lanka. Both highlighted the importance of the initiative in supporting the country’s push for greener transportation solutions.

Mrs. Rattan described the RV400 as a groundbreaking electric motorcycle that aligns sustainability with modern mobility. She emphasized the vehicle’s role in empowering Sri Lankans with efficient and environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional fuel-powered vehicles.

Mr. Kundanmal reiterated the transformative potential of the launch, citing partnerships with Atman Group and Sino Lanka Private Limited as key enablers in driving electric vehicle (EV) adoption in the region.

RV400: Technology-driven and sustainable

Revolt Motors’ RV400 is a high-performance electric motorcycle tailored for both urban commuters and long-distance riders. It features a range of up to 160 km per charge and a top speed of 85 km/h, complemented by customizable riding modes—Eco, City, and Sport. Its advanced features include AI-powered connectivity, mobile app integration, and real-time functionalities like geo-fencing, navigation, and keyless ignition.

The motorcycle’s IP67-rated battery ensures resilience against Sri Lanka’s diverse weather conditions, while safety features such as dual disc brakes, a combined braking system, and adjustable suspension enhance the riding experience across varied terrains.

At the launch, live demonstrations underscored the RV400’s innovative design, performance capabilities, and seamless blend of affordability and technology.
