Renowned tile manufacturer, Regency Ceramics Limited, is making a grand re-entry into its key markets. With a longstanding reputation for superior quality, intricate designs, and enduring durability, Regency has chosen Chennai as its relaunch pad, supplying the city’s dealers with its acclaimed glazed vitrified tiles. Customers have been quick to applaud the tiles’ exceptional design, quality, and packaging.
Backing its market return is a formidable Rs. 70 crore investment in its own production facilities. Regency Ceramics’ strategic approach encompasses contract manufacturing agreements with cutting-edge production facilities. The company is gearing up to kick-start the first of its four manufacturing lines by the close of 2023. This line alone will yield 7,000 sq meters daily, with plans to escalate to a staggering 25,000 sq m daily production capacity. Titled the ‘Renaissance range of Regency’, the offering will be comprehensive, featuring a diverse product lineup from glazed vitrified tiles to steps and risers.
Satyendra Prasad Narala, Whole-time Director and CFO of Regency Ceramics, expressed his optimism, stating, “Chennai’s overwhelmingly positive reception to our relaunched product line has been heartening. Leveraging our solid brand equity and astute go-to-market strategy, we aim to progressively branch out to the southern and eastern parts of India. Our entrenched goodwill in regions like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Orissa underlines our vision of achieving a Rs. 100 crore revenue over the forthcoming three years.”
Regency Ceramics’ pan-India aspirations are anchored by a three-tiered distribution blueprint. This encompasses forging a vast dealer network, nurturing ties with key architectural and interior design influencers, and inaugurating Regency showrooms in pivotal city locales. Additionally, standalone experience centers, spotlighting Regency Ceramics’ eclectic range, promise customers an in-depth, tangible brand experience.
Beyond business, Regency Ceramics is dedicated to bolstering the economic prospects of Yanam and adjacent coastal zones of Andhra Pradesh. The news of production recommencement at Regency Ceramics’ factory has been met with unanimous acclaim across societal sections.
