RattanIndia says Revolt electric motorcycles sold out within minutes
RattanIndia Enterprises claimed that Revolt Motors had once again witnessed massive sales for its electric bikes, which were sold out within minutes of starting online sales.
In a previous sales round on 18 June 2021, Revolt Motors closed the booking in two hours.
RattanIndia Enterprises, which holds a majority stake in the electric motorcycle manufacturer said that the record sales were driven by the increasing petrol prices in India, which are soaring over INR 100 per liter.
The company said that the running cost of Revolt electric bikes comes to INR 9 for 100kms compared to petrol bikes which amount to INR 250 per 100kms.
Anjali Rattan – Business Chairman, Rattanindia Enterprises said “Revolt bikes being sold out within minutes is strong testimony of the product quality of Revolt. With petrol prices reaching upwards of Rs. 100 in the country, it is hard for customers to miss huge savings that Revolt bikes bring.”
The sales were for artificial intelligence-enabled RV400 bikes, which provide a range of up to 150Kms on a single charge. Powered by a 3.24Kwh lithium-ion battery, the RV400 has a top speed of 85km/h.
Rahul Sharma – MD of Revolt Motors said: “Another round of blockbuster sales by Revolt clearly shows that Indian customers are quick to adopt superior products. We are working round the clock to increase our production capacities even further to cater to this huge demand.”
