Ramkrishna Forgings wins $4m per annum order in oil and gas sector

Ramkrishna Forgings Limited said that it has bagged an additional export order worth INR 300 million ($4 million) per annum from a repeat North American customer engaged in the oil and gas segment.

According to Ramkrishna Forgings, the contract was awarded by one of the major original equipment manufacturers (OEM) engaged in oil and gas for pipe fitting parts in North America.

Ramkrishna Forgings is a Kolkata-based supplier of rolled, forged, and machined products.

Naresh Jalan — Managing Director of Ramkrishna Forgings said: “This order further strengthens our penetration into this sector and is in line with the strategy to diversify its portfolio across sectors and geographies.

“With the pandemic behind us and all global markets are back to pre-Covid levels, this bodes well for us as a brand and opens lots of opportunities within this sector. We expect to receive repeat orders considering the current buoyancy in the market.”

Recently, Ramkrishna Forgings won a non-auto segment order worth INR 65 crores from an Indian division of Hitachi for providing mining and earthmoving components.
