Trade analyst Taran Adarsh lauded the movie, declaring, “Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ revives the HOUSE FULL BOARDS. The film, being the maiden collaboration between Rajinikanth and Nelson, has received an overwhelming worldwide reception. The fusion of Rajinikanth’s dynamic performance and the compelling narrative ensures a strong weekend for ‘Jailer’.”
Adding to the movie’s star power, ‘Jailer’ also showcases appearances from notable actors such as Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar. The ensemble cast includes Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, and Vinayakan. Anirudh Ravichander is the mastermind behind the film’s chartbuster tracks ‘Kaavaalaa’ and ‘Hukum’.
In the realm of competition, Chiranjeevi’s ‘Bhola Shankar’ premiered a day post the release of ‘Jailer’, on August 11.
