Quilting innovator AccuQuilt takes over June Tailor brand

TekBrands’ AccuQuilt, a leading provider of the GO! Fabric Cutting System beloved by quilters globally, has announced the acquisition of the June Tailor brand and product line, for an undisclosed price.

With a history dating back to 1961, June Tailor is well-regarded for their unique solutions for pressing, cutting, piecing, and quilting, as well as their best-selling Quilt as You Go sewing kits and innovative tools like Zippity-do-Done zippers.

AccuQuilt CEO, Renee Thomas Jacobs, expressed that the acquisition aligns perfectly with AccuQuilt’s brand and customer base. She emphasized the company’s dedication to offering innovative sewing and quilting solutions since 2008 and noted that June Tailor fits naturally into their portfolio.

Jill Repp, the VP of Sales and Marketing at June Tailor, who will now assume the same position at AccuQuilt, shared her anticipation of the two trusted brands joining forces. She said their combined effort aims to introduce new, creative products to inspire quilters and sewists, thereby enhancing their creativity, efficiency, and accuracy.
