Quebec-based Amrikart Ultraprecision acquired by Groupe ADF

Groupe ADF, a French industrial solutions provider, said that it has acquired Amrikart Ultraprecision, a Canadian company which specializes in high precision dimensional metrology.

Since 1988, Amrikart Ultraprecision has been providing customized solutions in metrology and instrument and measuring device automation. The Canadian firm caters to customers in the areas of aviation, railways, sea, space, heavy-duty industry, defense, and energy.

Groupe ADF stated: “Groupe ADF has been recognized in the field of metrology through its G2Metric brand name, and wished to complement its expertise toolbox thanks to the solutions developed by the Amrikart Ultraprecision teams. They will bring additional know-how and expertise to support the group strategy to be ever closer to the market expectations and requirements.”

The French firm has footprint in Canada since 2011 through its fully-owned subsidiary Solutions Latesys Canada, a provider of structural design engineering services.
