Gurpatwant Mann Singh Pannu, the founder of the controversial Khalistani organizarion Sikh For Justice (SFJ), has dismissed widespread rumors of his demise, confirming that he is alive and residing in .

The affirmation came after rumors of his death in a supposed car crash circulated extensively on Wednesday. The news of his survival was initially broken by journalist Aditya Raj Kaul, who stated he received a direct message from Pannu himself.

Sikh For Justice, which has been promoting the Khalistani movement, is labeled as a terrorist organization by the Indian government.

The news of Pannu’s alleged death, shared by netizens and featured by a few news channels and online portals, generated confusion as no final confirmation was available. However, many individuals came forward on social media on Thursday, July 6th, debunking the claims of Pannu’s death.

Speculation about Gurpatwant Mann Singh Pannu’s demise was fueled by the recent suspicious deaths of three Khalistani sympathizers in Canada over the past two months. Notably, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Khalistani sympathizer, was shot dead in Vancouver, Canada on June 19. Prior to Nijjar, Khalistani supporter Paramjit Singh Panjwar was killed in Lahore, Pakistan in May. Avtar Singh Khanda, a self-proclaimed Khalistani leader from the Liberation Force, passed away in Birmingham, UK on June 15.
