Pretzels to build new production facility in Lawrence, Kansas
Pretzels, a US manufacturer of pretzels and other snack products, revealed plans to build a production facility in VenturePark in Lawrence, Kansas.
The new facility, which will be of 150,000sft, is expected to generate a considerable number of new jobs, besides ramping up Pretzels’ capacity across a variety of products and formats.
Pretzels hopes to make it operational in late 2021.
The Indiana-based company said that its expansion into the Kansas City region enables it to better serve markets to the west and south.

Pretzels, which is a portfolio firm of an affiliate of Peak Rock Capital, produces a range of flavored and stuffed pretzels for private label and national brands. The company also sells pretzels under the Harvest Road brand.
The pretzels manufacturer has already made considerable investments in its personnel, R&D capabilities, and manufacturing presence, which includes a 120,000sft expansion of a facility in Plymouth, Indiana.
