PNC Infratech Limited said that it has signed concession agreements with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for executing the Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway projects.
The company signed the agreements through Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway Private Limited and Awadh Expressway Private Limited, which are the special purpose vehicles incorporated by it for the implementation of two hybrid annuity mode (HAM) project packages.
The first project involves the construction of 6 lane upgradable to 8 lane, Kanpur – Lucknow Expressway – Package I HAM Project under Bharatmala Pariyojana. The project length is 17.52km and the bid project cost is INR 1,413 crores.
The other project calls for the construction of 6 lane upgradable to 8 lane, Kanpur – Lucknow Expressway – Package II HAM Project under Bharatmala Pariyojana. The project length is 45.24km and the bid project cost is INR 1,513 crores.
According to PNC Infratech, the two expressway projects in Uttar Pradesh are to be constructed in 30 months after the declaration of appointed dates and operated for 15 years after construction.
