Petrofac bags $700m EPC project at ADNOC’s Habshan Complex

International energy service provider, Petrofac, has been chosen by ADNOC Gas Processing, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), to undertake a significant new engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project at its Habshan Complex.

The contract, valued at approximately $700 million, was awarded to Petrofac Emirates.

The EPC project entails the construction of a new gas compressor plant consisting of three gas compressor trains, associated utilities, and power systems. This new plant aims to significantly boost gas output from the Habshan Complex, located West of Abu Dhabi, as part of ADNOC’s continuous efforts to enhance their production capabilities.
