Pepsico’s Naked launches new chilled snack bar range

Food industry news : Pepsico has launched a new chilled snack bar range under the Naked brand, named as Naked Fruit, Nut & Veggie Bars in the US.

The new range for the first time extends Naked’s portfolio beyond premium juices and smoothies.

Naked says that Naked Fruit, Nut & Veggie Bars contain premium ingredients such as real fruits and vegetables and come in three flavors: Blue Machine (made up of berries, carrots, almonds and organic quinoa), Red Machine (cherries, cranberries, spinach and almonds) and Green Machine (apples, pistachios and kale).

Naked Fruit, Nut & Veggie Bars is said to have no preservatives, are Non-GMO Project verified, and are rich in vitamins A, C, E and Iron.

Commenting on the launch of Naked Fruit, Nut & Veggie Bars, Becca Kerr – Senior VP of Naked North America Nutrition Fruit and Vegetable portfolio, said: “As experts in fruits and vegetables, I’m thrilled we are bringing the convenience, nutrition and taste we are known for at Naked into the chilled bars space.

Naked Fruit, Nut & Veggie Bars are available across several US retailers including Whole Foods and Sprouts. The new Pepsico Naked chilled snack bar range is available in the refrigerated section of retail outlets as 40g single packs, priced at $2.99 and also as four-pack boxes, priced at $7.99.
