Patton acquires Artel Video Systems to expand broadcast and IP transport capabilities

Patton, the renowned manufacturer of FiberPlex brand Fiber Transport products, has successfully completed the acquisition of Artel Video Systems. This strategic move, enhancing Patton’s capabilities in delivering advanced broadcast video and IP transport solutions, represents a significant milestone in its growth strategy.

The acquisition strengthens Patton’s portfolio by incorporating Artel’s industry-leading video transport and IP-based products. This integration allows Patton to offer a more comprehensive suite of solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the Telecom, Broadcast, and ProAV markets. By combining Artel’s research and development with its own, Patton enhances its ability to meet customer demands for standard products while adding valuable intellectual property to its Contract Development and Special Project Services business.
