Patel Engineering wins contract for Rihand Micro Irrigation Project, MP

Patel Engineering Limited, an Indian civil construction company, in a joint venture (JV), has been issued a letter of award (LoA) pertaining to the Rihand Micro Irrigation Project in Madhya Pradesh (MP).

The LoA for the turnkey engineering, procuring, and construction (EPC) contract was issued by the Department of Water Resources, Madhya Pradesh after the joint venture was earlier declared as L1.

Patel Engineering, which is an 80% partner in the JV, will get a share of INR 5,120.47 million from the total contract value of INR 6,400.6 million.

The Rihand Micro Irrigation Project calls for the construction of a pressure irrigation system for supplying water via the rising/gravity mains by a pressurized pipeline system for micro irrigation.

The contract is for a period of 36 months.
