Parkland Fuel acquires petroleum marketer Kellerstrass Oil

Parkland Fuel Corporation has wrapped up its previously announced acquisition of Utah-based regional retail dealer and commercial fuel business Kellerstrass Oil Company.

The Canadian independent fuel retailing company signed the deal last month through its fully owned US subsidiaries (collectively, called Parkland USA) to acquire the US petroleum marketer. Financial terms of the deal were not revealed.

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Kellerstrass Oil Company has branches across Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho.

Kellerstrass Oil Company is said to bring a 17-car rail spur and storage assets, an 84-location dealer business, and commercial card locks.

Parkland Fuel Corporation said that Kellerstrass will complement and boost its existing Rockies Regional Operating Center.

Based in Calgary, Alberta, Parkland Fuel Corporation is engaged in supplying and marketing fuel and petroleum products apart from being a convenience store operator. The fuel retailing company has operates across Canada, the US, the Caribbean region and the Americas.
