Pakistani mystery woman Seema Haider under radar of UP ATS
Seema Haider, a Pakistani woman who illegally journeyed to India through Nepal to unite with a man she met on an online gaming platform, has reportedly been detained by Indian anti-terrorism authorities.
It’s reported that the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) in Uttar Pradesh, where Seema Haider and her four children have resided with Sachin Meena, her apparent lover, have initiated an investigation. Sachin, his father Netrapal Singh, and Seema Haider are said to be undergoing interrogation at a classified location in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
It’s been reported that a team of officers in plain clothes visited Haider’s residence to interrogate her based on suspicions of her connections with the Pakistani intelligence agency, ISI. She is said to be questioned about the route she used to arrive in India.
Seema Haider, originally a Pakistani citizen, reportedly illegally entered India through the Nepal border, intending to marry Sachin Meena, an Indian man from Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It is said that they met while playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), an online game. The local police are reportedly verifying the couple’s claims regarding their border crossing. On July 16, their statements were recorded by the Noida Police as part of the ongoing investigation.
Earlier, on July 4, Seema Haider was apprehended by local authorities for her unlawful stay in India, but was subsequently released on bail by a court in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Ghulam Haider, Seema’s husband, is said to have publicly requested her to return. He is reported to have professed his ongoing love for Seema, expressing worries about her safety and their children’s welfare. Ghulam Haider, currently living in Saudi Arabia, is believed to have assured her of his unwavering love, and he urged the public not to defame Seema’s reputation.
