PA-based Biscotti Brothers secures investment from Main Street Gourmet

Main Street Gourmet, a custom wholesale bakery that produces frozen baked goods, has completed an investment and partnership with specialty cookies producer Biscotti Brothers.

Based in Pennsylvania, Biscotti Brothers is an artisanal wholesale bakery that mainly caters to in-store bakery customers.

On the other hand, Main Street Gourmet, which is based in Ohio, caters to in-store bakery and restaurant customers.

Biscotti Brothers was established in 2003 by Gerry Bennett and Dave Linsenbigler. The company is known for producing biscotti and pizzelles to in-store bakery customers across the US.

Gerry Bennett – President of Biscotti Brothers said: “We couldn’t be more excited to enter this partnership with Main Street Gourmet, as we look to our next chapter of growth.”

Biscotti Brothers operates from a 60,000 square foot manufacturing plant in Greensburg that employs nearly 50 people.

David Veenstra – CEO of Main Street Gourmet said: “Both Main Street Gourmet and Biscotti Brothers will benefit a great deal from this partnership, as we bring complementary products, customers, and capabilities together. This is a significant step in our vision to build a family of premium wholesale bakeries.”
