OX2 has cemented a pivotal asset management agreement with ORLEN Group, covering three significant wind farms in Poland. This partnership encompasses a total capacity of 142 MW across the Ujazd, Dobrzyca, and Wielkopolska wind farms, which collectively boast 49 turbines. This move underscores a significant step in enhancing the operational efficiency and asset value of these renewable energy installations.
The Ujazd Wind Farm features 15 turbines, while Dobrzyca Wind Farm hosts 19 turbines, and Wielkopolska includes another 15. These farms, acquired by ORLEN Group in 2023, are strategically positioned to maximize wind capture and energy production, contributing substantially to Poland’s renewable energy output.
Lars Bryngelsson, responsible for Technical and Commercial Management at OX2, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: “We are happy to have been selected as a partner to ORLEN Group for the asset management of these wind farms. As one of the largest managers of renewable assets in Europe, we always give customers a tailored service and focus on optimizing the value of the assets. We look forward to a long-term collaboration with ORLEN Group.”
OX2’s expertise in managing over 5 GW of assets, which includes more than 1,000 wind turbines as well as numerous solar and battery energy storage systems across Poland, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, Italy, and Australia, positions them as a leader in renewable asset management. This extensive experience will be instrumental in driving the performance and sustainability of the ORLEN Group’s wind farms.
The strategic partnership between OX2 and ORLEN Group is a testament to the growing emphasis on professional asset management within the renewable energy sector. By leveraging OX2’s extensive expertise, ORLEN Group is poised to enhance the efficiency and output of their wind farms, significantly contributing to Poland’s energy sustainability goals.
