Instant ramen creator Nissin Foods has expanded its Cup Noodles portfolio in the US with the launch of Cup Noodles Stir Fry, the first soupless offering from the brand, as per the latest food product launch news.
The Japanese food company said that Cup Noodles Stir Fry was inspired by the growing popularity of Asian dishes from across the world. The new noodle meal is packed in a microwavable cup and is ready to be consumed in only four minutes, giving consumers the scope to have a stir fry-style meal on-the-go, without any additional preparation.
Jackie Park – Vice President of Marketing for Nissin Foods said: “At Nissin Foods, we value consumer feedback and are always looking to deliver new and exciting taste experiences to our growing fan base. After learning from consumers that they loved the idea of bringing Cup Noodles and stir fry flavors together, we knew we had to deliver.
“With the introduction of Cup Noodles Stir Fry, fans have yet another delicious reason to keep coming back to the Cup Noodles brand.”
Cup Noodles Stir Fry has been launched in three flavors – Korean BBQ, Teriyaki Beef, and vegetarian-friendly Sweet Chili, all of which are claimed by Nissin Foods to be free of added MSG. Each package of Cup Noodles Stir Fry is said to have a unique variety of vegetables for added flavor and texture.
Cup Noodles Stir Fry can be bought from Walmart stores across the US starting from September and in additional retailers from December.
