Indian talent development company NIIT Limited has acquired St. Charles Consulting Group LLC (StC) based in St. Charles, Illinois for $23.43 million.
The acquisition was carried out by NIIT’s fully-owned subsidiary — NIIT (USA), Inc.
St. Charles Consulting Group caters to professional services firms and Fortune 500 companies with consulting, designing, and implementation solutions for strategic learning programs.
Established in 2002, St. Charles Consulting Group has a network of more than 500 management consultants in the areas of learning, knowledge services, organization development, and planning of the workforce. Its solutions are offered in four main areas, which include strategic consulting, learning curation, custom learning experiences, and managed services.

As per the terms of the deal, St. Charles Consulting Group stands to be paid earnouts based on its annual performance over the coming four years.
NIIT said that the acquisition of St. Charles Consulting Group helps it gain a considerable footprint in the areas of professional services and management consulting, while consolidating its learning consulting practice.

Last month, NIIT made an investment in KNOLSKAPE, an experiential learning platform, which has a direct presence in the US, the UK, India, Singapore, and Malaysia.
