Retail industry news : American retailer Sears has opened a new appliances and mattresses store in Pennsylvania, at Camp Hill while revealing its plans to open a similar store in Honolulu in the weekend.

The new Sears new appliances and mattresses store in Camp Hill will be on the lines of the retailer’s Appliances & Mattresses store in Pharr, Texas, which opened in June and also the Sears Appliances store, which opened in Colorado at Ft. Collins last year.

The newly opened 12,248-sq. ft Sears Appliances & Mattresses store in Camp Hill is located at 3595 Capital City Mall. Its inventory includes major appliance brands like Kenmore.

Sears says that the new Camp Hill store has a bright, spacious setting providing interactive displays which gives the opportunity to customers to check out home appliances in kitchen vignettes and also look at some of the leading mattress brands.

Additionally, customers with the interactive digital display “Discover More” can visualize how new appliances can look in a full-scale kitchen. Shoppers can also pick common kitchen layouts and appliances by using a tablet and customize their experience further by selecting colors and finishes.

The new Sears Camp Hill store also has a range of vacuums, floor care and home environment products, and countertop microwaves. It also carries mattresses brands like Tempur-Pedic, Serta, Simmons, Stearns & Foster, Beautyrest and Sealy.
