New pickle-flavored sparkling wine cocktail launched by Claussen and Spritz Society


Renowned for its signature refrigerated pickles, Claussen, in a unique partnership with sparkling wine cocktail company Spritz Society, is set to launch a pickle-flavored cocktail. This marks the first venture of Claussen, a 150-year-old brand, into the beverage industry. The initiative is led by media influencers and entrepreneurs Ben Soffer, Claudia Oshry, and Jackie Oshry, who have incorporated Claussen’s iconic pickle taste into the new Spritz Society Pickle.

Spritz Society’s announcement of a pickle flavor for their April Fools’ prank in 2022 was met with unexpected demand and enthusiasm from their fans. A year later, the brand, known for its community-led innovation, made this “prank” a reality alongside Claussen. The outcome is a crisp, refreshing pickle-flavored sparkling wine cocktail set to launch just in time for summer.

Spritz Society’s sparkling wine cocktails feature real white wine and all-natural fruit flavors. The pickle-flavored variant, aptly named Spritz Society Pickle by Claussen, is no exception, providing a tangy twist on the classic sparkling cocktail. Each 8.4 oz. can packs 6% ABV, has only 120 calories and contains 5g of sugar.
