Limited has unveiled significant findings from its recently completed geophysics survey at the , situated 140 kilometres north of Mt Isa, . The initiative, backed by a $300,000 Queensland Government Collaborative Exploration Initiative (CEI) Grant, has pinpointed multiple high-potential drilling targets that could reshape the project’s trajectory.

In a statement, True North Copper’s Managing Director expressed optimism over the results, which highlighted anomalies resembling the company’s established Vero Deposit. These discoveries, spanning a 10-kilometre corridor along the Dorman Fault, mark a significant advancement in the search for copper, silver, and cobalt mineralisation.

The survey leveraged cutting-edge MIMDAS Induced Polarisation (IP) technology to detect chargeability and conductivity anomalies, indicative of potential sulphide mineralisation. The most promising targets were identified at Rhea, Black Marlin, and Camp Gossans, where geophysical anomalies align with favourable geological structures. At Rhea, a shallow, 140-metre-long anomaly was uncovered, offering a compelling new drilling opportunity. Similarly, Black Marlin revealed an expansive, untested chargeability zone stretching over 200 metres.

These findings come at a time when the global demand for copper is surging, driven by its critical role in renewable energy technologies. True North Copper’s exploration team has already initiated a rock chip sampling program to refine these targets further. The company also announced plans for cultural heritage clearances and preparatory earthworks, signalling its commitment to transitioning swiftly from exploration to potential extraction.

The Mt Oxide Project, a cornerstone of True North Copper’s portfolio, has a rich history of . The region hosts significant deposits within the Mt Isa Inlier, a globally recognised metallogenic province. With previous successes at the Vero Deposit and promising new targets, the project is poised to deliver substantial long-term value.

The Queensland Government’s CEI Grant has played a pivotal role in enabling these advancements. True North Copper has expressed gratitude for the funding, which has allowed the company to apply innovative exploration techniques and uncover eleven distinct target zones.

As exploration progresses, the company remains committed to transparent reporting and rigorous compliance with industry standards. The next steps include further sampling along the inferred strike zones and prioritising targets for drilling. With a clear focus on leveraging its technical expertise, True North Copper is positioning itself as a key player in Queensland’s resource sector.
