Netweb Technologies debuts high-performance servers, emphasizing make in India commitment
Netweb Technologies India Limited has made a significant announcement with the unveiling of its new series of advanced server systems at the Hyatt Regency in New Delhi on August 30, 2024. This launch marks a pivotal moment for both the company and the country, reflecting a deep commitment to high-end research and development, in-house design, and indigenous manufacturing as part of the Make in India initiative.
The new server systems are designed to cater to high-performance computing and artificial intelligence (AI) applications, boasting configurations with up to 256 cores and 6TB of memory. These systems provide extensive I/O, GPU capabilities, and storage options, making them well-suited for managing intensive workloads and complex computational tasks. The showcased models, including the Tyrone Camarero SDA200A2N-212, Camarero SDA200A2N-224, and others, support dual AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors, which deliver impressive computational performance.
Notable features of these servers include up to 6TB 3DS ECC RDIMM DDR5-4800MHz memory, integrated IPMI 2.0 + KVM with dedicated LAN, and extensive storage options, including HDD, SSD, and NVMe. Additionally, the servers offer up to 10 PCIe slots for expansion and support a wide range of GPUs, making them versatile for various applications in enterprise data centers and AI/ML environments.
The launch event was highlighted by a keynote address from Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar, Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), who emphasized the significance of this development for India’s electronic manufacturing sector. Kumar remarked, “The launch of the Tyrone Make in India Servers is a testament to Netweb’s achievement and reflects India’s impressive strides in electronic manufacturing.”
Through this initiative, Netweb Technologies aims to strengthen its position in the data center, AI, and high-performance computing markets, showcasing its ability to compete with international counterparts. The company’s efforts in local manufacturing align with the broader Make in India goals, enhancing the technological infrastructure of the country.
