The deal, finalized in collaboration with Walton Street Capital, L.L.C., adds 362 student housing beds to Muinzer’s growing portfolio. Both properties are reported to be 99% pre-leased for the upcoming academic year, reflecting strong demand.
This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Muinzer’s ongoing expansion, bringing its total student housing investments to over $250 million in the past year alone. Marc Muinzer, Founder and CEO of Muinzer, expressed his enthusiasm, highlighting the strategic importance of this investment. “We will continue to acquire student housing communities in top university markets,” Muinzer stated. He added, “I’m very proud of the Muinzer team for executing yet another acquisition next to my alma mater, Purdue University.”
Muinzer, which began its student housing investment journey in 2002, is now one of the largest owners and operators within the Big Ten and Southeastern Conference (SEC) markets.
