Mrs. Bectors Food commissions new biscuit production line at Rajpura
Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Limited has started commercial operations of its new biscuit production line at Rajpura, Punjab with an installed capacity of 12,000 tons per annum.
According to the cookie and cracker manufacturing company, the new production line of biscuits is part of the overall Rajura expansion project.
The expansion project covers building and civil works for the manufacturing facilities, construction of super-structure, construction of biscuit building, construction of roads, roof, doors, floor finish, rolling shutters and windows, weathering course, office furnishings, earth filling, drainage and sewerage system, electrical planning and equipment.
Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities said that the Rajpura expansion project’s building and civil works were delayed because of certain unavoidable factors such as Covid-19 outbreak, supply chain disruptions, as well as other commercial considerations.
The works are now slated to be wrapped up by 30 September 2022, said the cookie and cracker manufacturing company.
