Mold-Tek Packaging opens new manufacturing plant in Unnao

Mold-Tek Packaging said that it has inaugurated its 11th manufacturing facility in Unnao, Kanpur, which will primarily meet the requirements of plastic packaging containers of Kansai Nerolac Paints and other clients in northern India.

According to the Indian rigid plastic packaging manufacturing company, the pilot project in its leased premises at Unnao, admeasures 17.500sft. It has an installed capacity of 1,500 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).

Mold-Tek Packaging had purchased 2.61 acres of land from the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC) to set up the new plant.

The plastic packaging manufacturer expects the new plant to be functional fully by the end of FY 2023. The plant will involve an investment of INR 25-30 crores to serve the needs of Berger Paints, edible oil, as well as FMCG clients.
