Moderna to supply 7m more doses of Covid-19 Vaccine Moderna to Philippines

Moderna has agreed to supply the Philippines with seven million additional doses of Covid-19 Vaccine Moderna, to take the confirmed order commitment to the Asian country to up to 20 million doses.

The US biotech company said that the seven million additional doses have been secured under a partnership with the private sector.

Currently, the COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna is not approved for use in the Philippines and Moderna expects to work with regulators to seek the required approvals before distribution.

“This agreement supports the ongoing efforts in the Philippines to secure access to a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine and reflects Moderna’s continued commitment to expanding access to its vaccine around the world.”
