Mindtree said that it has extended its relationship with digital workflow company by launching industry-specific (IoT) solutions built on the latter’s Connected Operations.

Connected Operations is said to be a proactive system of action for IoT.

— Vice President of IoT and Operations Products at ServiceNow said: “Across industries, businesses realize the need for digital workflows to deliver greater operational efficiencies and better customer outcomes.

“Together with , we’re helping move customers in manufacturing and consumer goods beyond dashboards to automate issue resolution with IoT.”

Mindtree said that the industry-specific IoT solutions it will build will enable enterprises in turning data from their IoT infrastructure into actionable business workflows.

The Indian IT services firm will bring together the deep domain, design thinking, IoT, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and analytics expertise of its IoT services line – Mindtree NxT and the capabilities of ServiceNow Connected Operations. This will help businesses in industry sectors like manufacturing and consumer goods to apply their IoT data to use for making better decisions and enabling smarter operations.

Through the integration of IoT data with digital workflows, ServiceNow Connected Operations is said to help companies maximize the benefit from their IoT investments, increase customer satisfaction, and also access the latest business models.

Alongside Mindtree providing actionable and industry-specific insights, the ServiceNow solutions allow customers to break down data silos, resolve issues proactively, and evolve collaboration between operations, customers, field service, and customer service.

Mindtree said that with its services, businesses will be able to improve their insights across the enterprise and reduce risk, cut costs, and create the power of a single source of truth to facilitate collaboration in decision-making and use advanced analytics, data insights, modeling, and simulation to improve the analysis of their value chains.
