MG Motor introduces Next-Gen Hector with ADAS technology in India

MG Motor India has launched the Next-Gen Hector to further increase the on-road experience.

The Next-Gen Hector will be available in 5, 6, and 7-seater options in dual-tone argil brown and black interiors.

Being offered in 5, 6, and 7-seater configurations, the Autonomous Level 2 SUV offers logically designed seating options and ample space.

The new SUV comes with 11 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features including traffic jam assist and auto turn indicators.

The Next-Gen Hector features 14-inch HD portrait infotainment system, Digital Bluetooth key and key sharing capability.

Equipped with i-SMART technology, the SUV comes with over 75 connected car features, including 100 voice commands.

The voice commands include features such as touch-screen control for the sunroof, voice commands for ambient lights, navigation voice guidance in five Indian languages, 50-plus Hinglish commands, and apps such as Park+ for parking discovery and the Jio-Saavn App for music.

The Next-Gen Hector comes with 6 airbags, a 360-degree HD camera, electronic stability program, traction control system, hill assist control, all four-wheel disc brakes, front parking sensors and electric parking brake, according to the company.

In 2019, MG Motor India introduced The Hector in the country.
