MCR buys Courtyard Dallas Grand Prairie hotel in Grand Prairie, Texas

US hotel management company MCR has acquired the Courtyard Dallas Grand Prairie hotel in Grand Prairie, Texas for an undisclosed amount.

The Courtyard Dallas Grand Prairie marks the company’s eighth hotel in Dallas and its 39th hotel in Texas.

Located at 2850 South State Hwy 161, the acquired property is a four-story, select service hotel which includes 120 rooms and suites.

The Courtyard Dallas Grand Prairie hotel in Grand Prairie features 2,000 square feet of on-site meeting space, The Bistro, a full-service restaurant and bar, a grab-and-go market, an outdoor pool, putting green, a patio bar, and a fire pit.

Opened in 2021, the Courtyard Dallas Grand Prairie hotel also includes a fitness center, complimentary on-site parking, a 24-hour business center, and free Wi-Fi.

MCR said the Courtyard Dallas Grand Prairie draws in nearly 10 million visitors every year.

The service hotel in Grand Prairie was acquired with financing from American Momentum Bank, at a rate of secured overnight financing rate (SOFR) plus 260 basis points and a 65% loan to value, according to the hospitality company.

Founded in 2006, MCR with a $5 billion portfolio of 145 premium-branded hotels, operates nine Marriott brands and eight Hilton brands.
